PLO official rejects term "Temple Mount" as false

“PLO Executive Committee Member and Head of the Department for Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Qurei ‘Abu Alaa’ warned of the danger inherent in the claims and lies of the Israeli occupation government, according to which the Al-Aqsa Mosque is only the Southern Mosque, and that is what belongs to Muslims, while all the rest – the Dome of the Rock, and the mosque’s plazas – are part of what is called the ‘Temple Mount.’ Qurei expressed his opposition to these false claims, that will not negate the Islamic religious, cultural, and historical identity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, including all its pure grounds and plazas, and [said that] all of these claims are rejected outright.”
