On March 3, 2002, heroic prisoner Thaer Kayed Qaddour (i.e., Thaer Hammad) got up on his horse, pulled out his old rifle and fired, and merited to be recorded in history for the killing of 11 Zionist soldiers (sic., 7 soldiers and 3 civilians) in Wadi Al-Haramiya, east of Ramallah.
The sniper who carried out the operation, which undermined the image of the Israeli army, was arrested by the Israeli army on Oct. 2, 2004, after two years of searching and investigation by the Israeli Security Services. The one who carried out the operation was a young person from the village of Silwad, north of Ramallah, called Thaer Hammad, and he was sentenced to 11 life sentences.”
