Fatah official: Israel’s flag represents the Nile and Euphrates as borders of the state

“The additional question is whether the leaders of the occupation state have begun to sense their weakness due to the leader of the State of Palestine and the PLO heading the army of political realism and rationality, and of the Palestinian people’s will and aspirations for freedom and independence! This is because they now believe that the raising of the Palestinian four-color flag (the flag of ‘Arabness’) [parenthesis in source] at the UN headquarters [in New York] expresses a withdrawal, even just a slight one, from the two blue stripes in the flag of the occupation state, ‘Israel’, which represent the Euphrates and the Nile [rivers] as the borders of the State of ‘Israel!’”
