Fatah official cites 2nd Intifada as model to confront Israel “against recurring invasions” at Al-Aqsa Mosque

"Fatah Central Committee member Amal Hamad, called on our people and the factions of the national activity to go out against the recurring invasions of the first direction of prayer and the third [holiest] Islamic sanctuary (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque) by the occupation's forces and settler herds. [Fatah Central Committee member Hamad] stated: 'What distinguishes the fierce popular uprising that followed the outbreak of the second Intifada (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005), is the fact that the Palestinian factions united and confronted together against the Israeli unjustified aggression, under the leadership of the eternal late leader Yasser Arafat. This is the sight that we are lacking today."
