Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will. The PA presents Jews as possessing inherently evil traits. Jews are said to be treacherous, corrupt, deceitful and unfaithful by nature. These Jewish “attributes” and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. Forgeries and fiction masquerading as history are used to document and support the libel that Judaism is in essence racist and evil. Jews are said to be planning and executing heinous crimes, including burning Palestinians in ovens, murder, using prisoners for Nazi-like experiments, and more. If unchecked, these crimes constitute a mortal danger, not only to all Muslims and Arabs but to all of humanity.

The PA assigns responsibility to the Jews for all the problems in the world: Wars, conflicts and civil wars are all said to be triggered by Jews. Indeed, the oppression suffered by Jews throughout history is presented as the legitimate response of nations seeking revenge for the injury caused them by the Jews living among them. The creation of the State of Israel is said to have been a European plot, in order to be rid of their Jews and save Europe from the evil of Jewish presence in their countries.

The following are examples of Palestinian demonization:
Jews/Israelis are evil

“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs said in a statement yesterday (Tuesday) [July 3, 2018] that the world’s states must not be dragged after Israel’s false stories and fraud, whose goal is to change the facts, or after its failed attempts to define the Palestinians' legitimate right to struggle as a crime, and particularly the attack against the allowances (mukhassasat) of the families of the Martyrs (Shahids), the wounded, and the prisoners (refers to Israeli law deducting terror salaries from tax money collected for the PA; see note below –Ed.).
The commission added: 'Israel is an occupation state, which is implementing the most despicable policy of abuse, oppression, and murder against the members of the Palestinian people, and it is the head of the terror in the region and in the entire world. The Australian position was a type of alignment with the view of the occupation and oppression state' (Australia announced it is ceasing direct aid to the PA on July 2, 2018, citing the PA’s terror salaries as the reason for this decision, and instead will transfer aid through the UN –Ed.)…"

Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 2, 2018
Excerpt of an op-ed by Yahya Rabah, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“Egypt’s fate is to be great, which is deeply understood by the heroic Egyptian army that – at a critical crossroads that began on Jan. 25, 2011 (refers to the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, after which the Muslim Brotherhood rose to power –Ed.) – succeeded in analyzing the situation with exceptional genius… and in dealing wisely and intensively with the hostile plot to divide the entire region and turn it into tiny insignificant states that racially, ethnically, and territorially contradict each other, for the benefit of the satanic body that was planted in the heart [of the region] like a poisoned dagger: Israel.”

PA Foreign Ministry accuses Israel of allowing soldiers to indiscriminately shoot innocent Palestinians
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 13, 2018
Headline: "The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates: The closing of the false investigations of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of the boy [Mahmoud] Badran necessitates expediting the petition to the International Criminal Court"
"[The PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates] explained that these decisions of the [Israeli] Military Advocate General [to close the investigations] constitute clear proof of the Israeli military establishment's disregard for the lives of the Palestinians, especially in light of the instructions of the political echelon, which allow the soldiers to shoot at Palestinians based on the soldiers' considerations and their personal assessments. It noted that the decisions to close the investigation files against the murderer soldiers convey a dangerous message to the occupation soldiers and open the door wide to additional murderer soldiers, as there will never be anything to rein them in and forbid them from aiming their gunfire at the chest of the innocent members of our people."

PA: Israeli actions against PA curriculum and education in East Jerusalem are “a blatant violation of human rights”

"During its weekly meeting that was held yesterday [May 22, 2018] in the government headquarters in Ramallah, led by [PA] Prime Minister Dr. Rami Hamdallah… the government discussed the national plan to support education in Jerusalem, whose goal is to deal with all of the policies and steps of the occupation meant to Israelize the education, which are expressed by the allocation of large budgets for an Israeli government five-year plan to impose the Israeli curriculum, harm the Arabic language, and prevent the renovation and maintenance of schools and classrooms. The government expressed its strong condemnations and opposition to the Israelization plan and the attempts to harm the elements of the Palestinian national identity. It also emphasized that the Israeli acts and steps against the Palestinian schools and education in the holy city [of Jerusalem] are a blatant violation of human rights, as international law requires the occupation authorities to protect the character of the education and the identity and citizenship of the people under occupation..."

Op-ed in PA daily compares Israeli Defense Minister to the Nazis
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 22, 2018
“The man of the mafia and the Russian and Israeli bars [Israeli Minister of Defense] Avigdor Liberman is returning to his mafia roots with one difference – now, he carries a thick official stick as the Israeli colonialism state’s minister of war, and imposes his thuggery, racism, and inferiority on the Arab Israeli Parliament members, and Head of the Joint [Arab] List [party] Ayman Odeh in particular. This is due to the fact that the latter attacked the Israeli Police over the assault of the Palestinian and Jewish Israeli demonstrators who demonstrated in Haifa as a sign of resistance to the Israeli death army’s terror on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip… These statements did not come by coincidence now, but rather they have a connection to the nearing of the parliamentary elections in Israel. This is exactly as Liberman did on the eve of the previous elections for the Israeli Parliament when he wanted to increase the rates of voting. Now he is turning to another way of incitement against the Arab public in general, and not just against Ayman Odeh and the Arab Israeli Parliament members, and in this way he is effectively acting like those similar to him, the Nazis, and is preparing the public opinion on the Zionist Israeli street for [action] against the members of the Palestinian people with Israeli citizenship and persecuting them in the different spheres and fields of life within the lawless State of Israel that is hostile to law, coexistence, and peace.”

Abbas photographed holding PA daily with cartoon on back cover that depicts an Israeli soldier poisoning a Palestinian baby
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 21, 2018

Cartoon published on the back cover of the official PA daily

Text on cartoon: “Laila Gandour (see note below- Ed.)”

The cartoon shows an Israeli soldier removing a bottle from a baby’s mouth and replacing it with a bottle marked with the skull and crossbones symbol for poison.
The cartoon refers to Laila Gandour, an 8-month-old Palestinian baby girl who died on May 21, 2018, at the March of Return riots on the Gazan border with Israel, to which her family had brought her. The Palestinians have claimed that she died of tear gas inhalation; however, she suffered from existing health conditions and the cause of death has not been determined. Pictures of Gandour and her funeral have become a symbol of the border riots.

The day after the cartoon was published, a picture was taken of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas reading the official PA daily while hospitalized in Ramallah, and this cartoon was clearly visible on the back cover. This picture of Abbas has been widely disseminated in the media, possibly to show him being well after being hospitalized with pneumonia.

Op-ed in PA daily calls opening of US embassy a “war crime,” accuses Israel of carrying out “massacres, wars, terror” for 100 years against Palestinians, and claims Trump belongs in a “mental hospital”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 15, 2018
Excerpt of an op-ed by Muwaffaq Matar, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“[US President Donald] Trump’s country may be the strongest country in the world, but it is the poorest country in terms of justice, the richest in terms of injustice, and the lowest on the ladder of human values…
How can it be that Israel’s future will be full of shining promises of peace, as [US Presidential Advisor Jared] Kushner said while representing his President Trump at the inauguration of an American military base (sic., the US embassy) in occupied Jerusalem? Those who were present at the inauguration ceremony of Trump’s embassy in Jerusalem are partners in a war crime…
Trump believes in the ability of the leaders of Israel to put an end to the Palestinian existence, as his ancestors did to the Indians, but did they tell him that 100 years of massacres, wars, terror, expulsion, and organized attacks against the Palestinian people have only strengthened the Palestinians’ connection to their eternal homeland... This man needs rehabilitation in a mental hospital or to be hospitalized in an asylum, because if he remains free, the world will see how he enjoys and takes pleasure like no other while the world goes up in the flames of his sadism and naivety!”

Fatah spokesman: Israel is worse than Hitler, the Nazis, and fascism

Fatah Spokesman and Fatah Revolutionary Council member Osama Al-Qawasmi:
"There is no regime in history – believe me, not Hitler, not the Nazis, not fascism – that has implemented what Israel is implementing against the Palestinians. It conceals these crimes - this Nazism and fascism, and this racist apartheid regime against the Palestinians - in the media under the cloak of ‘democracy,’ that it is ‘an oasis of democracy in the heart of the Arab dictatorships.’ It attempts to present itself in this way with the aid of the US."
