PA District Governor laments death of terrorist’s mother

Posted text: “Allah’s mercy upon you, Um Samer (i.e., mother of terrorist Samer Al-Mahroum, murdered 1 with accomplices), as you have suffered greatly from the occupier’s violence.
You suffered for years as you went between the occupier’s prisons.
Um Samer Al-Mahroum is under the wings of Allah (i.e., she passed away), the mother of prisoner Samer Al-Mahroum from Jenin who has served 26 years of imprisonment.”

Samer Al-Mahroum – Palestinian terrorist member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) who, together with terrorists Omar Al-Naif and Hamza Al-Naif, stabbed and murdered Israeli civilian Eliyahu Amadi in the Old City of Jerusalem on Nov. 15, 1986. Al-Mahroum was sentenced to a life sentence; he was released in 2011 in the Shalit prisoner exchange deal brokered between the Israeli government and Hamas, but was later rearrested and had his sentence reinstated for violating the conditions of his release.
