Fatah secretary in Lebanon glorifies the "Prince of Martyrs Khalil Al-Wazir 'Abu Jihad'" for supervising "many heroic operations that frightened the occupation"

"The Students' Bureau and the Fatah Movement Women's Bureau in Lebanon yesterday [April 17, 2017] held a vigil of solidarity with the prisoners in the occupation's prisons and a picture exhibition on the anniversary of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of the Prince of Martyrs Khalil Al-Wazir 'Abu Jihad' (i.e., terrorist who planned attacks in which 125 were murdered) in the courtyard of the Martyr symbol Yasser Arafat site in the [Lebanese] Al-Badawi refugee camp.
Fatah Movement Secretary in Northern Lebanon Abu Jihad Fayyad said that standing in the presence of Martyr leadership member Abu Jihad Al-Wazir has many national meanings, and noted the long history of the struggle of Martyr Al-Wazir against the occupation, and the fact that he supervised many heroic operations that frightened the occupation."

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks in the 1960’s - 1980’s. These attacks, which murdered a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
