Israelis are "blood suckers,"
says mother of 6 terrorists who murdered at least 10

  • PA officials about the 6 terrorists: They are "a crown of honor"
  • Fatah official about mother of the 6 terrorists: She is "the mother of the Palestinian people"
  • Abbas has ordered to "immediately" rebuild the house of the mother and her terrorist sons after it is demolished. PA and Fatah: It is "an obligation" and "a national responsibility"
  • Terror mom: "We... extend our hands to peace, [Israelis] extend their hands to murder... We are even prepared to live in peace between us, but they don't want peace. They are bloodsuckers"

For Fatah and the PA, the fact that Um Nasser Abu Hmeid's 6 sons are terrorist murderers responsible for the deaths of at least 10 Israelis, is something to brag about.

This cartoon (above) that Fatah publicized shows Abu Hmeid heroically for being a mother with numerous armed men emanating from her and going on the attack with their weapons poised.

The name of honor "Khansa of Palestine" given by the PA to Abu Hmeid is yet another expression of the PA's encouragement of Palestinians to willingly sacrifice their sons as "Martyrs." The name refers to the woman Al-Khansa who lived in the earliest period of Islam who sent her four sons to battle and rejoiced when they all died as "Martyrs".

Abu Hmeid is the mother of 4 convicted terrorist murderers serving 18 life sentences combined for having murdered at least 10 Israelis. Another terrorist son was killed while resisting arrest after he murdered a member of the Israeli security forces, and the PA refers to him a "Martyr." The Abu Hmeid family's house was demolished on Dec. 15, 2018 after a sixth son admitted to murdering an Israeli soldier, and is now standing trial. (Israel has shown cases in which Palestinians have stopped terror attacks by their sons for fear their homes would be destroyed.)

The PA has turned mother of 6 terrorists Abu Hmeid into an icon and frequently honors her, as
Palestinian Media Watch has documented. Recently, Abbas invited her to meet with him in the PA headquarters. Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners' Affairs Qadri Abu Bakr and District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam headed a "solidarity visit" to Abu Hmeid's home before it was demolished by Israel. The Palestinian officials praised her and glorified her terrorist sons as "a crown of honor":
"They [Abu Bakr and Ghannam] emphasized to her that the entire Palestinian people appreciates the sacrifice of this family, and that the path of honorable struggle of its Martyr (Shahid) and prisoner sons is a crown of honor to every free and respectable person."
[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 13, 2018]

Ironically, on the day of the demolition, the mother of these terrorist murderer sons stated that it is Israelis who are "blood suckers" and that Israel is the one who "murders" while Palestinians "extend their hand in peace":
Mother of 6 terrorists who murdered at least 10, Um Nasser Abu Hmeid: "Let them demolish [our house]... For 70 years we have been trying with Israel. We want peace and extend our hands to peace, while they extend their hands to murder and crime. We are even prepared to live in peace between us, but they don't want peace. They are blood suckers."
[Official PA TV, Dec. 15, 2018]

Despite its great debt and claimed serious humanitarian crisis in the PA areas, the PA spends enormous amounts of money on rewarding and honoring terrorists. One additional large expense is the rebuilding of terrorists' homes demolished by Israel, and PA Chairman Abbas has already announced it will fund the rebuilding of Abu Hmeid's home.
Fatah Central Committee member and Head of Civil Affairs in the PA Hussein Al-Sheikh: "President Abbas has given direct orders this morning [Dec. 15, 2018] to quickly and immediately rebuild the home of the Abu Hmeid family. This is a fighting family. We bow to this family, its history of struggle, and their heroism (i.e., terrorists who murdered at least 10). Therefore, the minimum that can be provided to this family is to stand by it and immediately rebuild its demolished home."
[Official PA TV News, Dec. 15, 2018]

Abbas' financial support for terror has been condemned internationally, especially its spending $355 million this year to reward terrorist prisoners and families of "Martyrs," rather than spending it on Palestinian humanitarian needs. Abbas recently turned to the UN to help him raise $350 million needed for the "critical humanitarian needs" of Palestinians.

When the two PA officials, Abu Bakr and Ghannam, visited Abu Hmeid, they also stressed that the Palestinian leadership will continue "fulfilling its obligations regarding the fighting and sacrificing families." In addition to rebuilding demolished homes, this includes payment of salaries to prisoners and allowances to the families of "Martyrs" and many other benefits.

Reporting on the visit, the official PA daily further promoted the iconic and admirable status of the Abu Hmeid family, adding that:

"The Abu Hmeid family is one of the families with a long history of struggle, which is paved with the blood of the Martyrs and the resolve of the prisoners. Her son Abd Al-Mun'im died as a Martyr on the path to freedom, and she has five sons in the occupation's prison who are serving a total of 18 life sentences."

When Fatah official Al-Aloul emphasized that "the [PA] leadership will work to rebuild the home of Abu Hmeid," he referred to her as the mother of the entire people and someone to learn from:

"Um Nasser Abu Hmeid is the mother of the Palestinian people, and we learn from her resolve. The rebuilding of the home that the occupation blew up this morning is a national responsibility."
 [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 16, 2018]

Other words of praise as well as assurances of support came from the Head of The Committee to Resist Settlements and the Wall with the rank of minister Walid Assaf, who said:

"Our people will defend this house by all means (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror), will stand by the Abu Hmeid family, and will support it morally and materially out of appreciation for the sacrifices that its sons have made."
[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 13, 2018]

A Fatah official also corroborated that Abbas has ordered the rebuilding of the Abu Hmeid home and further suggested that a "national committee" be established to deal with the rebuilding. The committee would be funded in part by the PA government and in part by the Palestinian public:

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen: "After the demolition [of the house of Um Nasser Abu Hmeid] was carried out, we sent a letter to sister Um Nasser today according to which [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] guarantees to build the home in its entirety. We encourage [the establishment of] a national committee. This national committee will have a national fund for rebuilding all of the homes destroyed by- ... we will certainly request that the [PA] government take part in it. We will also request that the national assets take part in it too (i.e., funding from the public)."
[Official PA TV, Topic of the Day, Dec. 15, 2018]

PA official Adli Ya'ish who is the mayor of Nablus also called for Palestinians to chip in and pay for the rebuilding of terrorists' houses:

"The Fatah Movement's Nablus branch launched a national campaign yesterday to rebuild the home of the Abu Hmeid family... Nablus Mayor Adli Ya'ish called on the citizens to participate in the campaign and raise donations to build the homes of the Martyrs (Shahids) that have been harmed by the occupation."
[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 18, 2018]

The following are longer excerpts of the reports above and additional statements of praise and support for terror mom Abu Hmeid and her terrorist sons:

Official PA TV newsreader: "[Head of Civil Affairs in the PA Hussein] Al-Sheikh added that President [Abbas] has given direct orders to immediately rebuild the home of the Abu Hmeid family in the Al-Amari [refugee] camp."
Fatah Central Committee member and Head of Civil Affairs in the PA Hussein Al-Sheikh: "President Abbas has given direct orders this morning [Dec. 15, 2018] to quickly and immediately rebuild the home of the Abu Hmeid family. "The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Ramallah and El-Bireh district paid a solidarity visit yesterday morning (Wednesday) [Dec. 12, 2018] to the Abu Hmeid family (i.e., Um Nasser Abu Hmeid and her terrorist sons who are responsible for at least 10 murders; see note below), whose house the Israeli occupation decided to demolish after one of the family's sons, Islam Abu Hmeid, was accused of killing a soldier in the Al-Amari refugee camp several months ago.
The delegation from the commission and the district -led by Director of [PLO] Commission [of Prisoners' Affairs] Qadri Abu Bakr and District Governor [of Ramallah and El-Bireh] Laila Ghannam - met with Um Yusuf Abu Hmeid who is standing firm. They emphasized to her that the entire Palestinian people appreciates the sacrifice of this family, and that the path of honorable struggle of its Martyr (Shahid) and prisoner sons is a crown of honor to every free and respectable person.
Abu Bakr and Ghannam emphasized that the occupation's crimes and its threats will not prevent the Palestinian leadership from fulfilling its obligations regarding the fighting and sacrificing families...
It should be noted that the Abu Hmeid family is one of the families with a long history struggle, which is paved with the blood of the Martyrs and the resolve of the prisoners. Ofra shooting attack - Palestinian terrorists shot and wounded 7 Israelis - a pregnant woman, her husband, another man, and 4 teenagers - in a drive-by shooting attack next to Ofra, north of Jerusalem, on Dec. 9, 2018. The pregnant woman was severely wounded and doctors had to deliver her baby prematurely before operating on her. The baby died three days later. The terrorists fled the scene but were located three days later. One terrorist, Saleh Omar Saleh Barghouti, was shot and killed by the Israeli army during the attempt to apprehend him, while other terrorists were taken into custody. The Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas' military wing) claimed responsibility for the attack.

The terms "all means", "all means of resistance," "all forms," are used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.

Cartoon published in the official PA daily
Text on cartoon: "The homes of the Martyrs (Shahids)"

The cartoon shows a "Martyr" sitting on a cloud with a halo over his head looking at the backhoe of a construction vehicle, which is extended upward towards him but is unable to reach him. The cartoon refers to the demolition of the home of Um Nasser Abu Hmeid - and her terrorist sons who murdered at least 10 - on Dec. 15, 2018, because of the murder committed by her son Islam Yusuf Abu Hmeid. Another of Abu Hmeid's sons, dead terrorist Abd Al-Mun'im Abu Hmeid who is frequently referred to by the PA as a "Martyr," appears to be the "Martyr" indicated by the cartoon.
[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 17, 2018]

The official PA daily published this cartoon on Oct. 11, 2015 as well. At the time appeared on the backdrop of the demolition of the homes of the terrorists Mutaz Hijazi, Ghassan Abu Jamal, and Muhammad Jaabis.

Mutaz Hijazi - Islamic Jihad member and released prisoner from Jerusalem who attempted to assassinate Rabbi Yehuda Glick, a prominent activist working to assure rights for Jews to visit and pray on the Temple Mount, on Oct. 29, 2014. The assassination attempt took place following a conference on establishing times and places for Jews to pray on the Temple Mount. Glick was seriously wounded in the attack; Hijazi was killed soon afterwards when he opened fire on an Israeli police force that was attempting to arrest him.

Jerusalem synagogue terror attack - On Nov. 18, 2014, two Arab terrorists, Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal from East Jerusalem, entered a synagogue in Jerusalem and attacked worshipers with guns, knives and axes, killing 4 worshipers and a police officer. 7 people were injured, 3 of them seriously. The terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli Security Forces that arrived on the scene.

Muhammad Jaabis carried out a terror attack in Jerusalem on Aug. 4, 2014, when he deliberately ran over and killed Avraham Walles with an excavator and injured 5 others when he flipped over a bus. Jaabis was shot and killed on the scene.

Um Nasser Abu Hmeid (Um Yusuf Abu Hmeid/Latifa Abu Hmeid) - Palestinian woman who is famous and admired in the Palestinian Authority for being the mother of 4 terrorist prisoners serving multiple life sentences, another terrorist who admitted to murdering an Israeli soldier, and another terrorist son whom the PA refers to as a "Martyr." Abu Hmeid is also called Khansa of Palestine, a name that refers to the woman Al-Khansa in the earliest period of Islam who sent her four sons to battle and rejoiced when they all died as Martyrs. Abu Hmeid was honored by the PA in 2010 and in 2015, and was chosen in 2011 to launch the PA's statehood campaign with the UN. Israel ordered the demolition of the Abu Hmeid home as a result of Islam Yusuf Abu Hmeid murdering Ronen Lyubarsky; the house was demolished on Dec. 15, 2018.
Her terrorist sons are: Islam Yusuf Abu Hmeid, who admitted to murdering 1 on May 24, 2018, and is on trial (as of Dec. 18, 2018); Muhammad Abu Hmeid, who is serving 2 life sentences and 30 years for involvement in terror attacks; Nasser Abu Hmeid, who is serving 7 life sentences and 50 years for murdering 7 Israeli civilians and 12 attempted murders; Nasr Abu Hmeid, who is serving 5 life sentences for involvement in two terror attacks in which 4 were murdered and arms dealing; Sharif Abu Hmeid, who is serving 4 life sentences for involvement in terror attacks in which 4 were murdered; Abd Al-Mun'im Muhammad Yusuf Naji Abu Hmeid, who murdered 1 on Feb. 13, 1994, and was killed by Israeli military undercover agents on May 31, 1994.
