Fatah Spokesman in Gaza: “Israel will not be able to live in peace and security as long as we do not achieve our legal rights… our people will not accept any deal other than the deal of return to its land”

“Official Fatah Movement Spokesman in the Gaza Strip Dr. Atef Abu Saif said that the continuation of the March of Return activities (i.e., violent riots on the Gaza border with some rioters attempting to breach the security fence) is a strategic matter for the Fatah Movement and a clear and explicit expression of our people’s adherence to all of its legal rights, and he called for these actions to be part of the peaceful popular resistance’s active strategy on the path to achieving all of our rights… Regarding everything concerning the message behind these activities, Abu Saif said that there are two messages. One is that our people has not forgotten and will not forget its land and its rights, and that Israel will not be able to live in peace and security as long as we do not achieve our legal rights. The second message is directed to the international community by emphasizing that it is impossible to shelve our people’s cause, and that our people will not accept any deal other than the deal of return to its land and its homes from which it was expelled.”
