Fatah calls on Palestinians to “carry out Ribat and protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque” from “Judaization”

Headline: “Fatah calls on our people to protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
“The Fatah movement warned the Israeli government of the consequences of the Jewish extremist organizations’ calls to invade the Al-Aqsa Mosque on what is called ‘the holiday of Hannukah,’ and called on our people to carry out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) and protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
[Fatah] movement Spokesperson Osama Al-Qawasmi stated yesterday: ‘The latest statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu which were leaked, in which he spoke of his ability to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque, are decisive proof of this extreme government’s true malicious intentions, and additional proof of the fact that the Al-Aqsa Mosque invasions are being carried out as part of the occupation government’s clear plan to carry out the plot of dividing the Al-Aqsa Mosque by areas and times. The Fatah movement again emphasized that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, and that we will under no circumstances allow this Judaization project of our holiest of holies. Likewise, it called to the Arab brothers to take responsibility for what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories.”

The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "invasion."

"Division according to areas and times" refers to a proposed law (May 2013) being reviewed in Israeli Parliament that would allow for both Jews and Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount. The law seeks to designate separate prayer times and areas of the site for Muslims and Jews.
Israeli PM Netanyahu has stated on many occasions that the Israeli government has no intention of ‎changing the status quo on the Temple Mount.
