Palestinians rally in rejection of unpublished US peace plan, PA district governor: No Palestinian state without release of all the prisoners

Headline: “A mass procession in Salfit as a sign of support for the [PA] president and rejection of the ‘deal of the century’”
“A mass procession went out yesterday [June 28, 2018] from in front of the Fatah branch office in Salfit and traversed the city’s streets as a sign of support for [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas], rejection of the deal of the century (refers to US President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan, which has not been published yet –Ed.), and a presentation of national unity… Participating in the procession, which the Fatah Movement called for, were Salfit District Governor Ibrahim Al-Balawi and Fatah’s Salfit Branch Secretary Abd Al-Sattar Awwad…
District Governor Al-Balawi said that ‘The masses of Salfit district support the decision of the leadership, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, to reject the deal of the century.’ He also emphasized that there will be no Palestinian state without Jerusalem as its capital, stable and recognized borders, the return of the refugees, the stopping of the settlement, and the release of all of the prisoners.”
