Fatah official glorifies Fatah’s history of terror attacks; PA is “proud of the fact that we are the only ones in the world that have said ‘no’ to Trump”

“Fatah Movement Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Ideology Nabil Abu Rudeina said that Fatah – thanks to its leadership that has adhered to the national principles, thanks to the Martyrs’ (Shahids’) blood and the prisoners’ sacrifice, and thanks to the resolve of its activists and young people – will continue to defend the national enterprise and overcome all of the plots to eliminate our national cause… Abu Rudeina noted: ‘Fatah, which has triumphed over all of its enemies since the beginning of its activities in 1965 (refers to Fatah’s first attempted terror attack against Israel which is considered the "Intilaqa" or "Launch" of Fatah; see note below –Ed.), is now capable – in responsibility and competence – of defending the land and protecting our national unity. We can be proud of the fact that we are the only ones in the world that have said ‘no’ to [US President Donald] Trump and to everyone that is attempting to nullify our existence, our rights, and our national enterprise, which will triumph due to the motivation of the young people and the spirit of the Palestinian people.’”
Nabil Abu Rudeina also holds the position of spokesman for PA Chairman Abbas.
Intilaqa - "the Launch" refers to the beginning of Fatah on Jan. 1, 1965, when it carried out its first terror attack against Israel, attempting to blow up Israel's National Water Carrier.
