The [PA] national unity government congratulated the members of our people who are standing firm in occupied Jerusalem, our eternal capital, for thwarting the latest plot of the occupation, which attempted to have them participate in the occupation's municipal elections."
Saeb Erekat also holds the position of PLO Chief Negotiator.
